A Day Off

When I have several (5 ) days in a row of goings, I tend to find myself at zero on the zip dial;  that is where I find myself today.  I will load up a quilt (I bought several quilt backings when out one of those days) to the frame and call it good.
I also bought this little decorative bird house.  I want to use the measurements so I can make my own from some of the pallet wood Bill got for me.  I love to build things.  Today, I will make up the blueprints for it.  My hands are hurting so badly, I am even taking a break from knitting and that rarely happens!  A day off is just what I need!

  3. I've been taking it slow all week too. I don't think I've ever spent so much time on the couch. March weather always does me in.

  6. I'm so sorry your hands are still hurting. We're having a steady, cold rain all night last night and it's still coming down today. Good for the farmers and fire danger in days to come, but hard on the arthritis in my hands and feet. I'm listening to it on the roof of the RV and I love the sound. I'll just stay inside, knitting some mittens.
That birdhouse is really cute and the fabrics seem so springy to me. Enjoy your day and feel better.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  7. I've taken many days off lately. Just starting back up with making things again. Sorry to hear about your hands. I have pain in my thumbs and wrists if I do too much twisting, clenching, holding. It's good to rest things for a bit. Take care.

  8. Just rest and use the time to let your brain create all kinds of plans and schematics! The crafting will wait for you.
