SAHRR Finished Top

I did the last row for the StayAtHomeRoundRobin quilt;  it is the row of pinwheels under the wonky stars block at the top.  This ends up 48' wide and 74" long.  I don't have enough fabric for backing but I will get to the fabric store sometime this month!
I did putter afterwards and put out a few squares to make another leaf for the clover but that's about it for the day.
Most of the afternoon, I held Lena or Nyki while I did some knitting on the languishing Pimpelliese Shawl.

  1. Lena is probably the most accomplished lap-occupier I’ve ever known... and she does it so prettily! Fun to finish stage one of this quilt!

  2. Your quilt has such a wonderful strong design. Lovely to see it all laid out in full view.

  3. Somedays we just need to be still. But even then, we still have something going on! I am sure the kitties loved the attention.

  4. Your top looks great. I ran out of background fabric for mine, but I'll get some more on the weekend (the bolt is up at Mom's because she has more storage space than me - I take a couple yards at a time.)

  5. Oooh, I just want to tickle Lena’s toes. It’s been fun watching your Stay At Home Round Robin progress. Great finish!

  6. What a beautiful quilt top. I really like your colors and of course the clover is so clever too. Sweet little Lena. I love that all four cute paws made it into the picture. Restful afternoons are needed sometimes. Yesterday I cut out the material for 6 new summer dresses as mine are all getting to be 7-8 years old and worn out. I had planned to start sewing today but I think I'll give my back a break and knit instead.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  7. Interesting how your pinwheels also look like an hour glass when they are next to each other! Haven't started mine yet as I hurt my hand the other day.
