Abandoned!

Lena says it is warmer by the fire!
That's okay;  I'm about to rip out 4" of the sock!
When I laid it down flat to measure it,
I realized I messed up the 8 row repeat.
I have had quite a case of rip-out-itus!
Here goes!
I hope you have a good day.
I might just sit here until I have it knit back to this point again!

  1. Oh no! hopefully it's not too painful! At least Lena has a good seat!

  2. I like that idea — stay by the fire until then! :)

  3. Isn't there a sense of accomplishment when you get back to the point where it all went wrong? I LOVE that moment.

  4. Lena does look content to be a supervisor while soaking up some heat.

  5. I just think of ripping out as part of knitting. It happens. Good luck getting back on track. Lena looks very comfy!!

  6. Lena needs something soft to lay on while enjoying the fire. Isn't it funny how we rip out something that no one else would ever notice is wrong? I would rip it out too and my husband would say that I'm nuts, no one else would see the mistake. But I feel so much better when all is right in my knitting/crochet. :-) . Have a lovely Friday.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  7. Well, ha! the same thing happened here at noon. Good thing I ripped my fingerless back because it was way too big for her hands. Now I'm torn: Do some dreaded ribbing, or make a different king of cuff?
