This is definitely the pattern I am going to use for the blanket!
It is an easy 3 row repeat that I hope even I can remember the rhythm!
It is a type of Tuck stitch on my standard gauge machine.
I cut the tropical fish fabric and added my 'maids;
Yes, this will be a cute little quilt.
I am going to use the fish fabric to make a border also.
I finished up the quilting on the Around the World Christmas quilt.
The binding will be applied soon!
This is going on outside right now!
I haven't had a paved driveway since I was a girl!
Just wait until you see the driveway when it's complete!
That is a very pretty stitch. How exciting to get a new driveway! David already has plans to ride his ripstick on it. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, we both have quite the mess going on. At least yours is outside. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteI love that blanket pattern. It reminds me of the one I used for #1 grandson's blankie. It turned out great but the yarn was terrible and it pilled up badly. Live and learn. Don't skimp on the yarn for babies.
Love that fish fabric!
ReplyDeleteThe paved driveway will be a big change!
Lovely stitch pattern for the baby blanket. You are going to love the paved driveway!
ReplyDeleteI want a paved driveway!! The blanket will be lovely and the fish fabric is a perfect complement to the mermaids!
ReplyDeleteI love the fish pattern with the mermaids! So sweet. I think I've knitted a very similar pattern in a baby blanket before. It makes such a pretty blanket.
ReplyDeleteA new driveway! I remember when we put asphalt in on the driveway in our first home. It made a HUGE difference in the amount of dirt we tracked in. I'm looking forward to the 'after' photos.
Blessings,
Betsy
Love love love the blanket pattern. I read that you can set your homepage to your current post. I do that. Can you try to? That way I don't have to keep clicking until I get your current post. I always show february of 2016 when I go to your bookmarked site. What am I doing?
