Mitted Up

I've made the pair of Tough & Toasty
and completed the thumb of the child's mitt.
 That's it.
It's going to be a very different week

as we work to empty the second home we own,

the one where my parents stayed when they came for the winter.

It's been sold.

We have a lot of work to do

bringing a completely furnished home's items here....we will have a garage sale soon to liquidate!

 A good anticipation!

  1. That sounds like a lot of work! Daughter and SIL moved yesterday to an apartment while they are waiting for their house to be built and they were exhausted. I have to say that the one good thing about the pandemic is that they didn't ask us to help this time....lol. She hired some of her skating students to load and unload the moving van. Yay!

  2. Sounds like you're going to be very busy soon! You sure are a fast knitter. Nice projects, too.

  3. Love the mitts! I hope you can find someone to help you and Bill to clear everything out of the house.

  4. The mitts look great and I'm sure will be appreciated. That is going to be a huge job, emptying out a house. I can't believe we did it with ours so quickly. Take care and lots of rests.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  5. Oh my, that sounds like quite a task ... Perhaps the knitting will have to take a back seat for a while? Or perhaps it will be soothing things to do when you feel frazzled! It's always lovely seeing how much you do in so short a time.

  6. I am sure there is sadness with the knowledge your parents are probably not making the trip much anymore. But life changes and we make new opportunities! Good luck with the prep.
